Enviro-Kids

The following activities and educational resources have been designed with the youngest stewards of our environment in mind.  It’s never too early to learn about how to take care of our Earth. Enjoy!

Activities

• Eco-Activity Booklet — A booklet featuring Green Mountain’s mascot, Super Earth, that’s filled with interesting activities and facts about our planet.
  
  
• Science Activities — A collection of science activities for kids from the EPA's State and Local Change Program.
  
  
• Global Warming Wheel Card — A nifty tool developed by the EPA to help your child calculate the greenhouse gas emissions “score” of members of their audience and suggest what they can do to reduce it.
  
  
• Renewable Energy Experiments — Earthday Network and Redefining Progress have gathered a series of experiments to demonstrate concepts like global warming and how renewable energy sources work.
  
  
• Earth Day Game — Kids (and adults, too!) can play this game to learn more about every day choices they can make to help make a difference for the environment.

Education

• Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Network kids’ website – filled with lots of information and fun games and activities for to help kids learn about saving energy (sponsored by the DOE)
