Wesley Community Center

Helping to prevent homelessness and empower low-income families through education, social services and emergency food services, the Wesley Community Center fosters an environment of hope and opportunity. And through a $149,950 donation from the Sun Club, the center is able to educate its community about environmental sustainability and the benefits of protecting the planet.

Using a combination of solar power and energy-efficiency improvements, the buildings at the Wesley Community Center feature sustainability solutions to reduce utility costs and waste. The facility features upgraded A/C units, a solar array, LED lighting, solar screens, programmable thermostats, a smart sprinkler system and energy-efficient windows.
