LED light retrofit for 294 incandescent bulbs
Quick 2.5 year payback period on lighting conversion due to load displacement, lower heat output and avoided maintenance
Nurturing and strengthening the artistic, cultural, and educational quality of the area, is the goal of the Arts Council Wichita Falls. The Arts Council occupies two buildings that house the Arts Council, each nearly 100 years old. With over 24,500 visitors to the galleries each year and additional remote learning opportunities through the Distance Learning Lab and the Virtual Tour programs, the Arts Council is a prominent member of the community.
Through a $17,478 donation, Sun Club will fund the replacement of 294 incandescent lights with LEDs that will result in $7,066 in savings annually. These savings are the result of a combination of load displacement, lower heat output, and maintenance expenses related to purchasing and replacing burnt out bulbs, making the investment in LEDs quick to pay for itself.
